Acceleration:
It is the rate of change of velocity with time.
If (V) is a vector that represents the velocity of a particle, then acceleration (a) of a particle is a vector obtained by differentiating(V) with respect to time(t)
ie, a = dv/dt.
The negative acceleration is retardation
For a body moving in a circular part the acceleration is
where,
(v) is the velocity of the object and
(r) is the radius of the circle.
For uniform acceleration of a body in linear motion were can use the relation.
a = (v2-v1)/t
v1 = initial velocity and v2= final velocity after time t.
